The Dean of the Faculty of Philology at the University “Ukshin Hoti” in Prizren, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Vjollca Dibra, held an official meeting at the Austrian Embassy in Prishtina with Ms. Clarissa Castek, Deputy Head of Mission of the Republic of Austria in Kosovo.

The meeting focused on concrete opportunities to strengthen academic and cultural cooperation, with particular attention to the Department of German Language and Literature, including the possibility of engaging a German language lecturer with contemporary didactic and cultural expertise.

Discussions also addressed the further development and enrichment of the Austrian Corner at faculty level, as an important space for promoting Austrian literature, culture and intellectual heritage, as well as for organizing cultural activities involving students and academic staff.

In addition, ideas were exchanged regarding international cultural cooperation and project initiatives aimed at fostering critical thinking, cultural dialogue and the role of language and literature in contemporary society, with a special focus on students and young people.

The Faculty of Philology remains committed to building sustainable international partnerships, recognizing cultural and academic diplomacy as a key pillar of university development.
