

The Promotion of the book by UPZ English language students
Today, on the 25th June 2026, the authors Mirdona Bllaca, Leunora Bojaxhiu, Nora Kotere Çollaku, and Valbona Hoxha, graduates of the Faculty of Philology, Department of English Language and Literature promoted their book titled “Fragments of Us” at the American Corner.
This publication represents a collective literary journey, bringing together reflections, experiences, and creative expressions that explore themes of resilience, hope, and personal growth. The anthology is the result of a collaborative writing project, led by Travis Holland, a writer, lecturer, and Peace Corps volunteer that provided young authors with the opportunity to develop their voices under professional mentorship.
On this occasion, on behalf of the Faculty of Philology, Sermin Turtulla, assoc.prof.dr., presented the Certificate of Appreciation to Mr. Travis Holland, Response Peace Corps volunteer, and thanked him for his contribution on capacity building at the Department of English Language and Literature (DEL), and his dedication in organizing and holding the creative writing club for students of the Faculty of Philology. In addition, Travis Holland also financed the publication of the book “Fragments of Us” by the young authors and graduates of the DELL.
