

Call for Applications: You and Europe Scholarship
Master’s Studies in Germany (2026/27)
The Faculty of Philology informs students and alumni about the opening of the European Scholarship Programme “You and Europe”, a prestigious scholarship scheme for students planning to pursue a full Master’s degree in Germany, starting in the winter semester 2026/27.
The programme is conducted by Alfred Toepfer Stiftung F.V.S., in cooperation with the German National Academic Foundation (Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes). It aims to promote European dialogue, academic exchange, and to build a strong European network of academically excellent and socially engaged students.
Who can apply?
- Students from Kosovo (and other eligible European countries),
- Bachelor’s graduates (or final-year Bachelor students),
- Students from all academic disciplines, except arts, music, design, film and performing arts,
- Students ranked within the top 10–15% of their academic cohort,
- Applicants who did not complete their Bachelor’s degree in Germany,
- Candidates with a strong interest in European topics and cooperation.
What does the scholarship offer?
- Need-based monthly scholarship: €300 – €1,155,
- Additional benefits (e.g. health insurance subsidies, family allowance),
- Two annual networking meetings on European topics,
- Participation in the educational programmes of the Studienstiftung,
- Inclusion in a strong European network of outstanding students.
Deadlines:
- Nomination by a university professor: 4 February 2026
- Online application deadline: 23 February 2026
